Abstract

A harmonic generator: Co-generation of electric power and synthesis gas from methane is achieved using a single-chamber solid oxide fuel cell (see picture; SDC=samarium-doped ceria, YSZ=yttrium-stabilized zirconia). The process utilizes methane completely with zero greenhouse gas emissions. Detailed facts of importance to specialist readers are published as ”Supporting Information”.
