Coffee consumption and decreased serum gamma-glutamyltransferase and aminotransferase activities among male alcohol drinkers

Abstract

Our results suggest that coffee may inhibit the induction of GGT in the liver by alcohol consumption, and may possibly protect against liver cell damage due to alcohol.
