Abstract

We present a measurement of the top quark mass using a sample of $t\overline{t}$ decays into an electron or a muon, a neutrino, and four jets. The data were collected in $p\overline{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}1.8\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}\mathrm{TeV}$ with the Collider Detector at Fermilab and correspond to an integrated luminosity of $109{\mathrm{pb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$. We measure the top quark mass to be $175.9\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}4.8(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}4.9(\mathrm{syst})\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}\mathrm{GeV}{/c}^{2}$.
