Abstract

Retinal telangiectasis may be the underlying cause of a variety of macular lesions which may be confused with other disease entities. The funduscopic and fluorescein angiographic findings in patients with macular dysfunction secondary to retinal telangiectasis are described. Use of intravenously administered fluorescein is helpful in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
