Towards the theoretical design of splash-plate feeds

Abstract

The theoretical design of splash-plate feed systems, where a reflecting plate is situated in front of a radiating aperture, is discussed. Initially, the problem is considered as 2-dimensional, and the extension to three dimensions is given. The results are compared with experimental data.
