Abstract

Abstract Two novel sinusoidal oscillators using a single OTA with dual current output are proposed. These circuits have a single dual current output OTA, two capacitors and one resistor, using only three passive components. All the capacitors of these oscillators are grounded, which is ideal for integration. The first sinusoidal oscillator has orthogonal control of the oscillation condition and oscillation frequency through two independent electronically tuning transconductance gains. The second sinusoidal oscillator has independent control of the oscillation condition and oscillation frequency through two different electronically tuned transconductance gains. The results show that the simulation values appear to be in approximate agreement with the theory presented.
