Cost-effectiveness analyses of elective orthopaedic surgical procedures in patients with inflammatory arthropathies

Abstract

Elective orthopaedic surgery in patients with inflammatory arthropathies was cost-effective when measured with EQ-5D, and some procedures were also cost-effective when SF-6D was used in the economic evaluations. Hip replacement surgery was most cost-effective, irrespective of the method of analysis.
