Corrections to tabulated anomalous-scattering factors

Abstract

Z-dependent energy-independent corrections to the relativistic anomalous-scattering factors tabulated by a number of workers are given. These corrections are most significant for medium-Z and high-Z atoms, but are experimentally observable even in low-Z elements. Examples of use of the correction factors are provided for the real anomalous-scattering factor f′ and for the differential elastic scattering cross section dσ/dΩ.
