First results of the preoperative accelerated partial breast irradiation (PAPBI) trial

Abstract

Our first results show limited fibrosis in a small volume and good to excellent cosmetic outcome. In selected patients, preoperative radiotherapy appears to be a good option for breast conserving therapy.
