In the rabbit, chronic AVB leads to prominent QT prolongation and high incidence of spontaneous TdP. Downregulation of both I(Kr) and I(Ks) in association with altered I(Ca,L) activation kinetics may underlie the arrhythmogenic ventricular remodeling.
