Abstract

Spiral CTAP and MR imaging were approximately equivalent for lesion detection in patients who were evaluated preoperatively for resection of liver metastases. The lower cost and fewer problems with artifacts may suggest that MR imaging is the preferred modality for preoperative assessment of patients for surgical treatment of liver metastases.
