Prospective study of proximal gastrectomy for early gastric cancer in the upper third of the stomach

Abstract

Proximal gastrectomy for early upper-third gastric cancer can be performed safely with an excellent cure rate. This procedure deserves further clinical evaluation to assess patients' quality of life.
