Abstract 3‐(4‐Hydroxyphenylthio)pyrrolidine‐2,5‐diones were prepared by the conjugate addition of substituted 4‐hydroxybenzenethiols to 1‐alkyl‐1 H ‐pyrrole‐2,5‐diones. The analytical and spectral data are reported.
