Fecundity, Life span, Developmental periods and Pupal weight of Tenebrio molitor L.(Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae)

갈색거저리를 소맥피와 가축사료를 먹이로 하여 <TEX>$25{\pm}5^{\circ}C$</TEX>, <TEX>$65{\pm}10%RH$</TEX>에서 사육한 결과 발육기간은 80.0 ~ 83.7일, 번데기크기는 18.1 ~ 18.7 mm로 유사하였고 2일간의 평균 산란수는 44.3 ~ 55.3개이었다. 갈색거저리 번데기의 평균 무게에 따라 0.12 g, 0.15 g, 0.18 g의 세 중량으로 구분하여 우화 후 성충의 일생동안 평균 산란수를 조사한 결과 각각 172.3, 191.2, 215.0개로 중량에 비례하여 증가하였다. 산란경향은 우화 2주차까지 51.8%를 산란하여 가장 왕성하였으며 그 후 급격히 감소하였다. 번데기 무게에 따른 성충의 수명은 각각 <TEX>$27.1{\pm}6.9$</TEX>, <TEX>$30.1{\pm}7.8$</TEX>, <TEX>$27.4{\pm}8.5$</TEX> 일로 차이 없는 것으로 조사되었다. 갈색거저리 유충사육 용기(<TEX>$16{\times}21.5{\times}7cm$</TEX>)에 유충 사육밀도를 100, 300, 500, 700마리로 사육한 결과 용화 시작 후 3주 이내에 67.9%가 용화되었으며 단위 공간당 사육 밀도가 증가함에 따라 번데기의 중량은 용화 시작 후 3주까지 각각 <TEX>$146.9{\pm}6.5$</TEX>, <TEX>$142.1{\pm}8.3$</TEX>, <TEX>$122.0{\pm}9.6$</TEX>, <TEX>$118.5{\pm}5.2mg$</TEX>으로 감소하였다. Two different feed(bran and swine feed) effect was tested on development of Tenebrio molitor at <TEX>$25{\pm}5^{\circ}C$</TEX>, <TEX>$65{\pm}10%RH$</TEX>. There was no significant feed effect on larval developmental periods(80.0 ~ 83.7 days), pupal length (18.1 ~ 18.7 mm) and fecundity(44.3 ~ 55.3 eggs) during first two days. However, fecundity was significantly affected by the pupal weight(P < 0.05), such that the number of eggs 172.3, 191.2, 215.0 gradually increased as pupal weight rose from 0.12 g, 0.15 g to 0.18 g, respectively. During the first two weeks of oviposition was 51.8%, which gradually decreased for further days. Longevity was <TEX>$27.1{\pm}6.9$</TEX>, <TEX>$30.1{\pm}7.8$</TEX>, <TEX>$27.4{\pm}8.5$</TEX> days with increasing pupal weight of 0.12, 0.15, 0.18 g, respectively. Larval densities of 100, 300, 500 and 700 individuals reared in the container (<TEX>$16{\times}21.5{\times}7cm$</TEX>) resulted 67.9% of the T. molitor pupation during first three weeks. Pupal weight was decreased <TEX>$146.9{\pm}6.5$</TEX>, <TEX>$142.1{\pm}8.3$</TEX>, <TEX>$122.0{\pm}9.6$</TEX>, <TEX>$118.5{\pm}5.2mg$</TEX> when it was reared at different larval densities of 100, 300, 500 and 700 individuals, respectively in size of(<TEX>$16{\times}21.5{\times}7cm$</TEX>) rearing container.
