Abstract Note.-Boris Orelkin died on December 25, 1931. The X-ray investigation of symm. (1-3-5) triphenylbenzene was begun by him at the Davy Faraday Research Laboratory, where he worked as Research Fellow of the International Board of Eduction, but it was not completed at the time. The following paper contains his results and further preliminary data leading to an approximate structure. A full account of the detailed structure and of the magnetic properties will be published later.
