Abstract

An account of the considerations leading to the development of viscose rayon fibres of improved flame retardancy is followed by details of the performance of these materials under various wet‐processing conditions and leads to a discussion of the factors which enable satisfactorily dyed and finished textiles of adequate and durable flame resistance to be manufactured and marketed.
