Abstract

ABSTRACT The occurrence of primary glaucoma is reported in several canine breeds in the United Kingdom, the specific cause of ocular hypertension being the acute closure of a defective iridocorneal angle. The gonioscopic and histological features of the disease are reported, and the nature of the predisposing inherent anatomical defect is described in contrast to the normal structure of the iridocorneal angle.
