Abstract

Ulnocarpal impaction is a common finding after distal radius fracture. MR imaging can detect characteristic bone marrow changes of the lunate early after the trauma. A significant correlation exists between MR imaging findings and the extent of posttraumatic ulnar variance and pain levels.
