The EEG response to pyridoxine‐IV neither identifies nor excludes pyridoxine‐dependent epilepsy

In neonates with TRS, pyridoxine-IV induces nonspecific EEG responses that neither identify nor exclude PDE. These data suggest that neonates with TRS should receive pyridoxine until PDE is fully excluded by metabolic and/or DNA analysis.
