Abstract

Stressminderung: Di(3-hydroxypropyl)selenid hat eine außerordentlich hohe Glutathion-Peroxidase-ähnliche katalytische Aktivität bei der Reduktion von tert-Butylhydroperoxid mit Benzylthiol. Der katalytische Zyklus verläuft über ein Spirodioxaselenanonan, das isoliert und spektroskopisch sowie röntgenkristallographisch charakterisiert wurde (siehe Bild).
