Ultrasound Biomicroscopy of Eyelid Lymphangioma in a Child

Abstract

A 13-month-old girl developed a superficial, multinodular, blue-grey upper eyelid mass shortly after birth. This was clinically suspected to be a lymphangioma. Ultrasound biomicroscopy revealed a subcutaneous mass with a multicystic internal structure and fluid levels consistent with lymphangioma. Follow-up ultrasound biomicroscopy 2 years later showed stable findings.
