Thiol-coated nanoporous materials are engineered from polystyrene-<italic>block</italic>-poly(<sc>d</sc>,<sc>l</sc>-lactide) precursors having a disulfide junction. Further adsorption of GNPs on pore surface provides novel supported catalysts.
