The intensity of light scattered by four monodispersed polystyrene latexes has been measured at 45°, 90°, and 135°. The polarization ratios and dissymmetries have been compared with newly computed Mie-theory functions. The range of validity of the Rayleigh-Gans theory for m=1.20 has been discussed. A discrepancy between the experimental and theoretical values for the dissymmetry has been observed and accounted for in terms of secondary scattering.
