Multiwavelength Erbium-doped fiber laser with figure-of-eight configuration is designed and demonstrated. The intensity-depended transmission of nonlinear optical loop mirror can balance mode competition effect of homogenous broadening gain medium, and thus allows for stable room-temperature multiwavelength generation. The experiment results indicate that the wavelength numbers of attained multiwavelength spectra vary with the polarization states. Additionally, the impact of pump power on the multiwavelength is investigated.
