Predictors of mobile telephone use and exposure analysis in Australian adolescents

Abstract

Almost all adolescent Australians use MP, but regular exposure was associated with personality traits. Parental socio-economic status and perceived health risks of MP use were also associated with use of phones. Longitudinal studies are needed to assess the predictors of mobile phone use in the long term.
