Contribution of Singlet Oxygen to the Photofading of Some Dyes

Abstract

The contribution of singlet oxygen to the photofading of arylazonaphthols, indigo, quinophthalones, aminoanthra‐quinones, triphenylmethanes and stilbenes in solution is discussed, and mechanisms for their photo fading reactions are proposed.
