Abstract

Decreasing mean HbA(1c) and BP levels and the wider use of lipid-lowering drugs during the late 1990s in patients with diabetes in a national sample from Sweden should translate into clinical benefits regarding micro- and macrovascular complications as well as diabetes-related mortality.
