Long-term treatment with anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) agents did not lead to significant changes in RNFL thickness in a patient population with wet AMD. Chronic therapy with intravitreal anti-VEGF agents does not appear to adversely affect RNFL thickness.
