Abstract

CT provides good sensitivity and specificity and significantly outperforms cholangiography in detecting biliary tract carcinoma complicating primary sclerosing cholangitis. Despite limitations, CT and cholangiography provide useful information not otherwise available in the treatment of patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis.
