Abstract Castor oil has been used to prepare millable elastomers by using 2,4‐toluene diisocyanate, 4,4′‐diphenylmethane diisocyanate, and 1,5‐naphthalene diisocyanate, respectively. These elastomers are vulcanized with sulfur and 4,4′‐diphenylmethane diisocyanate separately by using the standard methods of rubber technology, and the properties of these vulcanizates are reported.
