Abstract

Cross-yned: The first highly chemoselective three-component cross-trimerization between a triisopropylsilylacetylene, an ether-functionalized unsymmetrical internal alkyne, and a symmetrical internal alkyne leading to a 1,3-dien-5-yne was achieved using a [Ni(cod)2]/PPh3 catalyst. This reaction is applicable for various internal alkynes with high regio- and stereoselectivities. Detailed facts of importance to specialist readers are published as ”Supporting Information”.
