The transmission of intestinal flagellates between mice and rats

Abstract

Following an outbreak in rats in an experimental holding unit of Hexamita and Giardia infestation of evidently murine origin, these flagellates were successfully transmitted experimentally from mice to rats, and from these rats to mice again.
