Abstract The preparation and the biological properties of a number of strongly fungitoxic compounds of the general type RSO 2 SCCl 3 (trichloromethyl thiolsulphonates) are described in this paper. The phytotoxic character of these compounds may be lowered considerably by suitable substitution in the group R.
