Use of parasitic strip to produce circular polarisationand increased bandwidth for cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna

Abstract

An experimental investigation is undertaken to determine the effect on the bandwidth and polarisation of a cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna when a parasitic strip is attached to its surface. Particular configurations are found that increase the bandwidth and produce circular polarisation.
