Abstract Laboratory tests were carried out to study the susceptibility of Sitona lineatus, S. hispidulus, S. flavescens and S. sulcifrons adults to entomophagous nematodes: Steinernema faltiae, St. bibionis and Heterorhabditis bacteriophora applicated on Petri dishes in dose of 30 L 3 per weevil. Nematodes caused 50% adults mortality after 6 days and 100% mortality after 14 days in case of S. lineatus. Differences in the mortality of Sitona species were connected with siezes and mobility of tested species. All the nematodes multiplied sufficiently in the weevils bodies.
