This is the tenth of the second series of fascicles published by The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and edited by Harlan I. Firminger, MD. Dr. Dr. Thackray is Professor of Morbid Histology, The Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London; Dr. Lucas is Professor of Oral Pathology, The School of Dental Surgery, London; and Dr. Firminger is Professor of Pathology, The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland. As Dr. Firminger states, "the second series of the Atlas of Tumor Pathology is not intended as a second edition of the first Atlas." The work of Drs. Foote and Frazell in the first fascicle of<i>Tumors of the Major Salivary Glands</i>, published in 1954, will remain a classic.
