Abstract

Abstract Trifluoromethylation meets CH activation: after transition metal‐catalyzed trifluoromethylation became more and more popular, trifluoromethylation via CH activation is now emerging as the latest attraction. Several pioneering examples and their mechanisms are discussed in this review.
