Treatment with galantamine and time to nursing home placement in Alzheimer's disease patients with and without cerebrovascular disease

Abstract

Long-term treatment with galantamine or other AChEIs appears to be associated with a significant delay in the time to NHP in patients with AD and AD with CVD. Further prospective studies are needed to confirm these findings.
