Abstract

IPB use during LRYGB revealed a statistically significant difference only in postoperative oral narcotic use. Possibly, the IPB can limit or prevent peritoneal irritation and reduce the need for longer narcotic use. Clinical significance was not demonstrated by our outcomes variables.
