Inhaled iloprost to control residual pulmonary hypertension following pulmonary endarterectomy

Abstract

In addition to the effect of PEA, iloprost reduces residual postoperative pulmonary hypertension, decreases right ventricular afterload and may facilitate the early postoperative management after PEA.
