Robust quantum logic in neutral atoms via adiabatic Rydberg dressing

Abstract

A proposal for the realization of a robust quantum gate based on Rydberg atoms is analyzed, and it is shown how adiabatic dressing of the ground state protects the gate from decoherence due to random phase errors usually arising from thermal motion.
