Investigations on organo‐tin compounds. X. The addition of organo‐tin hydrides to carbon‐carbon unsaturated compounds

Abstract

Abstract Reactions of organo‐tin hydrides with carbon‐carbon unsaturated compounds are described, viz. the addition of organo‐tin monohydrides to (1) olefinic compounds, (2) diolefinic compounds and (3) acetylenic compounds, and of (4) organo‐tin di‐ and tri‐hydrides to olefinic compounds. Thirty‐six new organo‐tin compounds, most of them containing functional substituents, have been prepared.
