Serotonin Is Associated with Coronary Artery Disease and Cardiac Events

Abstract

The study suggests that serotonin is associated with coronary artery disease and occurrence of cardiac events, particularly in younger age groups. This association seems to persist after adjustment for conventional risk factors.
