Effects of Lanthanum Carbonate on the Absorption and Oral Bioavailability of Ciprofloxacin

Abstract

Lanthanum carbonate significantly reduces the systemic exposure to orally administered ciprofloxacin. Concomitant administration of both drugs should be avoided to prevent possible suboptimal response to ciprofloxacin.
