The phase boundary between the hadronic and the quark-gluon plasma phase is calculated using a thermodynamically consistent hadronic equation of state with excluded volume for all hadrons. In this scheme the quark-gluon plasma phase remains stable at very high temperatures for all values of the baryon density.
