Abstract

The majority of asymmetric stroke patients did not improve spatiotemporal asymmetry during rehabilitation despite the fact that velocity, balance and functional mobility improved. Future work should investigate other factors associated with improved spatiotemporal symmetry and interventions to specifically improve it.
