Ultrafast Analog All-Optical Signal Processors Based on Fiber-Grating Devices

Abstract

<para xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> This paper reviews recent work on the design, experimental implementation, and application of two fundamental all-optical analog signal processing functionalities, namely, photonic temporal differentiation and photonic temporal integration, using customized grating devices directly written in optical fibers. </para>
