Effect of hypothermia on recovery from general anaesthesia in the dog

Abstract

Hypothermia is a common complication of general anaesthesia and surgery. Amongst other deleterious effects, it is associated with slower recovery from anaesthesia, likely due to a number of different mechanisms.
