Propofol increases bone morphogenetic protein-7 and decreases oxidative stress in sepsis-induced acute kidney injury

Abstract

Propofol treatment could protect kidney from sepsis-induced AKI by increasing BMP-7 expression, decreasing inflammatory cytokines and inhibiting oxidative stress.
