Abstract

The neuropathy is predominantly sensory and is characteristic of distal, chronic neuropathy with no acute features. Small fibre populations are affected more than large fibre populations. Increasing severity of neuropathy was associated with anxiety and depression as measured in the neuropsychological tests.
